offtopic@jon: breve name?
sorry for posting here, but we don't have any offtopic corner yet.
Jon, in your phone interview I heard that you are pronounciating breve more as bravee. As a German I only know the word breve (bore like "beef") only as a synonym for "short" (for time issues..). What does breve stand for? (perhaps this explains the pronounciation ..)

The name breve comes from the name of a coffee drink made with espresso and cream. The original word breve does mean "short" and comes from Italian.
To be honest, I don't know how the Italians pronounce it, but the English pronunciation of the particular coffee drink is "brev-ay".

so, is the programming language pronounced "stev-ay", or "steev"?

Interesting question, but I really think not all words are pronounced by the English people like the rest of the world would not do.
