interfacing with vbscript or c#
hi, i'm interested in using breve for an urban/architectural academic research project and i need to interface it with rhino through vbscript or c#. i'm starting to learn scripting and don't know quite if it's feasable. i'd really appreciate it if anyone could clarify it a bit.

I don't know much about vbscript or C#, and adding support for these languages directly in breve would be a bit of a challenge. The forthcoming Python frontend should allow for a lot more interconnectivity between languages, however, since there are a lot of libraries for doing such things with Python. You might want to check whether the package you're using can be interfaced with Python.

what data gets exported with the xml?
hey,
don't know anything about python, but i'll check it out.
i know i can upload xml into vbscript and c#. so saving the breve simulation as an xml could solve the problem. the question is: when one saves as xml, what data is retrieved? does it export the coordinates of objects? would i be able to use the whole simulation with the coordinates?
