64-bit version of breve? (unable to use native python package due to ELFCLASS error)

I want breve to use my native installation of python. I tried making a symlink to my python2.5 shared library file to force breve to use my systems installed packages, however this failed because when breve tried to load the library file it must have been expecting a 32bit version of python. Any chance of a recompile of breve that would support 64 bit python installations?

Unfortunately, I'm expecting

Unfortunately, I'm expecting a 64-bit version of breve to cause problems on a couple of different fronts (including both internally to breve and externally in other libraries), so it's not currently supported.
