Multi-Robot Construction Simulation

Good morning, all. I'm a graduate student studying robotics, and for my master's thesis, I would like to design and simulate a robotic team to assemble panels. I've looked at all the standard simulators (Player/Stage/Gazebo, USARSim, Pyro, Microsoft Robotics Studio), but either I'm having installation issues, I can't get the Python plug-ins, or it doesn't support Python at all. I'm technically a Mechanical Engineer, so my programming background is limited, but I have done a fair amount of Python programming so I'd like to stick with that.

What I'm trying to figure out is whether breve would be an appropriate and rigorous simulation tool for my purposes. How accurate are the physics? How good is the support in case I get stuck? Can it handle a team of ten robots? Can I design my own robot? How easily? These questions are not meant to be exhaustive - I just basically need an idea of if I can do this project and if the simulation will approximate reality well enough to make my thesis. Anyone have any input? Thanks.

Know other robo item? We need specifications on the double for maximum onboard memory, all or two robotic item.
