after using breve first time, my keyboard [Enter] key is disabled

I can't possibly go on without asking this here. I tried a quick search here on the forums, found nothing.

So it's really quite simple:
Windows Vista Home Premium
MSFT Comfy Keyboard (USB)

run breve, play long enough to get some errors (unspecific: if you want me to be specific I will be, just ask)

Now suddenly, my [ENTER] key has gone numb!! There's NO response WHAT-SO-EVER, I've never seen anything like it.

Not even after reboot does my [ENTER] key work.

Of course, software being what it is by nature, I admit there may be another cause, and I may be barking up the wrong tree. But even so, please fill me in, so I may close this ticket. If I should be seeking help elsewhere, please feel free to re-direct.
